FINDINGS SHORTLISTED FOR TWO INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHING AWARDS

Private Equity Findings, the global publication of the Coller Institute of Private Equity at London Business School, has been nominated for two international publishing awards.

The biannual publication is one of four titles short-listed for Best Not-for-Profit Publication at the CorpComms Awards and has also been short-listed as Best Public Sector/Government Title at the APA International Content Marketing Awards. Both award ceremonies will be held in London in November.

Findings extracts the key findings from the best of the world’s private equity academic research and brings them to a wider and non-academic audience. Each issue presents leading industry research in a lively and engaging format, featuring interviews with the authors of the research and the insight and opinions of private equity practitioners, investors and advisers.

Findings is distributed directly to a global audience of circa. 30,000 private equity practitioners, academics, advisers and policymakers. The content is also available online at www.collerinstitute.com and several features from each issue are syndicated to specialist journals and industry forums including EurekaHedge.com, AltAssets.com and the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Journal.

Francesca Cornelli, academic director of the Coller Institute of Private Equity and lead editor of the publication, said “Private Equity Findings showcases the world’s leading academic research in a format which is accessible to the broader practitioner community. Research in private equity continues to thrive and we are excited to bring the findings to our growing audience of stakeholders in the industry.”

Hans Holmen, executive director of the Coller Institute of Private Equity, said “Two years ago we set out to create a completely new type of publication for the private equity industry. We are immensely proud of Findings and delighted that the reach and influence of the title has been recognised with these award nominations.”

Vicky Meek, editor of Findings, said “Findings is now required reading for many thousands of private equity practitioners around the world. I’m thrilled we have been nominated for these two awards and look forward to taking the publication from strength to strength in 2012.”
